Ram It Down Lyrics
Dorian Electra
[Verse 1: Dorian Electra]
Just keep it your secret behind closed doors
We don't want to see it, don't start a war
Keep it locked up tight, ah
Oh, what you do at night, ah
Just don't bring it out into the daylight
[Pre-Chorus]
Ram it down
[Chorus: Dorian Electra]
Hey, man, don't ram it down my throat
Can't take anymore
Hey, man, love who you want
But just don't ram it down my throat (Hey)
Harder, farther, deeper
I can't breathe
Shove it, I love it
I want it
Please ram it down
Mood Killer!
[Verse 2: Mood Killer]
Love wins, a.k.a. sins, but hey, that’s not my business
Just don’t shove rainbows in my face
Even the Lucky Charms leprechaun wants to turn me gay
Not okay, I’m gonna suffocate
Ram it down
[Chorus: Dorian Electra]
Hey, man, don't ram it down my throat
Can't take anymore
Hey, man, love who you want
But just don't ram it down my throat
Harder, farther, deepеr
I can't breathe
Shove it, I lovе it
I want it
Please ram it down
[Bridge: Lil Mariko]
Huhuhuhahahaha
What up Texas!
Mariko, 出ておいで
Ram it down
[Outro: Lil Mariko]
Ram it down, ram it down, ram it down
Ram it down, ram it down, ram it down
Ram it down, ram it down, ram it down
Ram it down, ram it down, ram it down
Be careful not to choke when I ram it down
Ram it down, ram it down, ram it down
Ram it down, ram it down, ram it down
About
Ram it Down is the 10th track on Dorian Electra’s second album, “My Agenda” (released 16 October 2020.) It is produced by Full tac and Lil Texas and features Lil Mariko and Mood Killer.
This track plays with a recurring cliché regarding the opposing impulses of outwardly homophobic activists, implying that their constant fear and disgust towards homosexuality is revealing of their own unspeakable homosexual desires.
Or, considering the characters depicted throughout the album are consumed by feelings of alienation and isolation, it could be assumed that the resentment they feel towards LGBT couples (or couples of any kind) is due to their envy, their desire to be forcefully removed from their state of loneliness and have love rammed down their throat. A gift in the form of a punishment that they gladly accept in the next and final track.

My inspiration for songs is often hearing an interesting or weird phrase. ‘Ram it down’ caught my attention because I would hear people say things like, ‘Oh, hey man, I’m okay with gay people. But don’t be holding hands in public, man. Don’t ram it down my throat.’ And the fact is, there’s this highly charged, homoerotic language that accompanies that deep homophobia. I wanted this song to be super intense, charged, masculine, with screaming guitars and hardcore. And I felt like all three of the artists were perfect for this song. They’re all breaking down genre or gender barriers.
