“Edgelord (Johann Sebastian Bach Remix)” is the sixteenth track on Dorian Electra’s My Agenda (Deluxe).

It features an introduction and repeated spoken interludes from “The Joker” and a verse from Savage Ga$p. The remix itself is attributed to Johann Sebastian Bach, who is known to be long dead (since 1750).

The original “Edgelord” track plays with direct references to DC’s Joker character. The music video only further expands on this, Dorian emulating a Joker-like persona with Rebecca Black being their Harley Quinn.

Dorian is known to like the Joker as a character quite a bit (a poke around their Instagram shows this), so it is no surprise that they featured the Joker himself on this track.

As for the production, it’s filled with a warbling electronic bass directly juxtaposed with the harpsichord, an instrument widely used in Renaissance and Baroque music. Dorian has used the harpsichord in other tracks of theirs, particularly ones that seem to be more Renaissance- or medieval-themed like Flamboyant, Musical Genius, and “M'Lady”. The instrument is meant to be a nod to Bach, who “produced” this track, as he wrote compositions for the organ and stringed keyboard instruments such as the harpsichord.
