As part of our Employee Volunteering Program (EVP), reinforcing our commitment to community development and UN Sustainability Goals (SDGs) 4 (Quality Education), our EVP Group 4 on 11th December, 2024, made a generous donation of football jerseys and footballs to Zongo LA Basic School and Gyarko Basic School. During the last Inter School Football competition in Techiman these two schools had to rent football jerseys to compete in the tournament that is why leadership of the branch chose them as recipients of this donation. This donation is a significant contribution to the school’s Physical Education (PE) program and will support both current and future students in improving their physical health, teamwork skills, and sportsmanship. The equipment will benefit the school’s athletic teams, providing them with the necessary tools to practice, train, and compete at a higher level. This addition of high-quality sports equipment will inspire students to participate more actively in physical activities, promoting a culture of fitness and well-being within the school. The donation made by the Techiman branch represents an invaluable investment in the future of sports in these schools. It highlights the power of community support and demonstrates how collective efforts can drive meaningful change in educational institutions.
