My role at Utako mfb was both challenging and rewarding. This practical workplace experience helped me gain an understanding to how fast paced the bank workspace is. In the first half of the internship I worked with the front of the bank, learning how to open different accounts for customers such as premium savings accounts and corporate accounts. This hands on role helped me learn the intricacies of the "Bankone" software we used. With assistance I tended to customers and experienced what they did on a day to day basis. Practical skills such as gathering the C.O 2 allotment of shares, C.A.C 2-3 particulars of directors and filling out "KYC" forms were tedious at first but with time I got to grasps with it. My second mentor on the bank floor David peter taught me how to deal with Cashiering and funds transfer this included how to carry out manual bank deposits and withdrawals as well as updating the registers associated. Most importantly the checks that must be taken out and the banks legislations put in place to customers who are not signatory's to the accounts. The latter half of my internship I was with the head of IC. Here I went over the processes For vouching of transactions call over. Essentially the processes of verifying the accuracy and completeness of its financial records mainly involved with customer accounts. It involves thorough review and reconciliations which was the hardest part of my internship, the institutional environment simplified this task, which is why I am happy I got to experience this in a less pressured situation. Most important of all I was taught good office habits and how to structure your days and week to ensure productivity. This experience has left me optimistic about office working and has broadened my knowledge

🌟 Completed Assignment Task #5: Cash Flow Statement Preparation 🌟   As part of my Finance Internship with Digital Empowerment Network Pakistan (Batch #3), I successfully prepared and analyzed a cash flow statement for a hypothetical small business, Tech Gadgets, for the year 2024.   🔹 Key Insights: ·       Positive cash flow of PKR 160,000 from operating activities, indicating solid financial stability. ·       Investments in new equipment resulted in short-term negative cash flow from investing activities but promise future efficiency gains. ·       Smart use of external financing, resulting in a net cash inflow of PKR 170,000.   🔑 Suggestions to Improve Cash Flow: 1. Increase sales or reduce costs. 2. Focus on efficient asset management. 3. My journey to my current achievement has been long, with its ups and downs. Somehow, I've managed to overcome everything with ease, thanks to the prayers and support I've received. During my university years, I faced disagreement from my parents regarding my pursuit of higher education. They preferred me to work instead, but I proved them wrong. I took on the challenge of STPM to save money, and pursued my degree with PTPTN while working part-time. Trust me, it wasn't easy. Now, my PTPTN loan has been exempted because of my first-class degree. I'm grateful for everything and thank God and everyone who helped me along the way. My internship provided me with the best working environment. When one of my colleague had an accident, I stepped in as a temporary finance clerk, receiving extra allowance for my efforts. As my internship ended, I was interviewed by my current company and offered a position as a Protegee Trainee. Despite my lack of experience in the financial sector, I decided to give it my best shot. Now, as of April 1st, I'm officially a permanent staff member. The key lessons I've learned so far are: take action, solve problems, stay positive, and prioritize your own well-being and goals. With all of this in mind, I hope you embrace challenges as stepping stones to success, let perseverance guide you, and may joy and triumph walk beside you always.
