🎉 Some more exciting news on our partnership with GSMA - Mobile for Development 👇 We are teaming up with MTN Ghana to bring financial inclusion to thousands of women smallholder farmers in northern Ghana, enabling seamless digital payments and creating greater transparency across the shea value chain. Together, we are empowering rural communities and creating opportunities for these hardworking women to access international markets. Thank you, MTN Ghana and GSMA, for your commitment to this impactful journey! 🌍
🎉 Congratulations to Sommalife on signing a MoU with MTN Ghana to integrate their proprietary software, TreeSyt, to MTN Ghana’s mobile money APIs. TreeSyt ensures transparency and traceability throughout the shea value chain, while also digitising female smallholder farmers in northern Ghana and connecting them to international buyers. This partnership facilitates integration of Sommalife’s TreeSyt to MTN Ghana’s mobile money APIs to enable smallholder shea farmers working with Sommalife to receive digital payments, while also encouraging the adoption of MTN Ghana’s mobile money services among these farmers. MTN Ghana also aims to provide financial literacy training to these farmers and establish mobile money agents within the communities where #Sommalife operates. We are proud to be supporting Sommalife through the #GSMAInnovationFund for Climate Resilience and Adaptation, which is funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and Sida. 🔗 Learn more about their GSMA Innovation Funded project here: https://bit.ly/3XcAk5I #scaling #SuccessStory #ClimateTech | JohnCarl Dunyo Mawuse Christina Gyisun Gregory Peter Omondi
