#Stories evoking action.
Adisa, a 58-year-old mother of three had felt a lump in her breast for months but ignored it. In a community where issues of breast cancer weren't openly discussed, and as stigma clouded the judgment of the people, Adisa, out of ignorance and fear of stigma felt reluctant to seek help as the cancer spread leaving her with few options. As a survivor, Adisa shared her story, which is a powerful reminder of the significance of early detection. Her story encouraged other women to seek early screenings, inspired hope, destigmatized, challenged misconceptions, and improved survival rates for healthier communities. Let's break the silence around breast cancer. Empower women with knowledge We can save lives through early detection. Share Adisa's story and inspire others #pinkstories #breastcancerweek

The power of #storytelling. Thank you Stories for Change Foundation
Meet Amerley, a 28-year-old nurse from Ghana Amerley's community lacked access to quality #reproductive healthcare. Women suffered in silence, ashamed to seek help. But she shared her own story of overcoming her health challenges and finding support. She spoke of resilience, hope, and the power of community. Inspired, the #women in her community began sharing their own stories. Together, they demanded better healthcare services, challenged harmful traditions and empowered each other Now, that is the power of #storytelling. It has the ability to spark social change. At Stories for Change Foundation, we are using the power of innovative storytelling like #motionpictures to bring positive change in Africa #StorytellingForChange #WomenEmpowerment
