We're delighted to share that Foteini Salmouka, Project Manager at ahedd Digital Innovation Hub and Smart Attica European Digital Innovation Hub, represented us at the Recreating Innovation Summit organized by the Founderhood team around Thanos Paraschos, Dimitris Dimosiaris, and Giannis Tambakis. The event took place from October 24-26, 2024, in Chania. Foteini participated in an insightful panel discussion on the role of large institutions in shaping the future, alongside Amalia Spyratou, with moderation by Dimitris Dimosiaris. The panel explored the challenges and opportunities that arise when large institutions collaborate with startups, emphasizing the valuable lessons learned from these dynamic partnerships. What an amazing experience at the FIRST Global (IFCA) Challenge in Athens! 🌟 We had an unforgettable time at this International robotics, science, and technology event with: ✔️ Young innovators from 193 countries, 🌍 ✔️ Our valued associate, MellonLab as the national co-organizer, ✔️ Support from the Hellenic Ministry of Digital Governance, ✔️ A shared passion for technology and innovation. The talented students participated in the New Technology Experience: "Feeding the Future", an #innovation challenge where they researched and developed solutions for building a more resilient and equitable food system. This initiative highlighted the transformative impact of #Technology on economic, social, and environmental #sustainability. Our own Digital Transformation Consultant, Evelyn Kyzirakou, and Skilling Lead, Eleni Tsatsaroni, were thrilled to attend and explore new opportunities for collaboration and growth! 🙌🤖✨ #FGC2024Athens, #FIRSTGlobal, #Innovation, #robotics

📍 George Papavasileiou represented ahedd Digital Innovation Hub at the conference organized by Athena Research Center in Xanthi, on 25/09/2024. The event took place in the context of the Smart Attica European Digital Innovation Hub, in which #ahedd is the leader partner and is consistently holding the discussion around the diffusion of innovation in the market and the public sector, aiming always to facilitate the ##digitaltransformation of society.   💡 The #innovative solutions presented by George in the field of culture and tourism concern the eligible sectors for the Smart Attica European Digital Innovation Hub, but they are not the only digital applications offered by ahedd. We are proud to celebrate 🎉 the three researchers of NCSR "DEMOKRITOS" that have a significant presence in the published Stanford 2024 list; George Kosmadakis, (#INRASTES, @Institute of Nuclear & Radiological Sciences & Technology, Energy & Safety), Maria Vasilopoulou, (#INN, Institute of Nanoscience & Nanotechnology at NCSR Demokritos), and our own Theodoros Giannakopoulos, (#IIT, Institute of Informatics & Telecommunications at NCSR Demokritos and ahedd Digital Innovation Hub fellow).   The annual list, compiled by Professor John Ioannidis of #Stanford University in partnership with academic publisher #Elsevier, aims to recognise #researchers who have made a #significantimpact in their field, throughout their career and for the preceding year. As Professor Ioannidis states; "We have created a publicly available database of top-cited scientists that provides standardized information on citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions and a composite indicator (c-score)”. 📑   The younger generation is building its own #globalreputation and this gives great #hope for the future of the Center. Kudos to George, @Maria and Theodoros for this remarkable achievement! 👏 👏 👏
