Boosting Bio-Innovation & BioEntrepreneurship by Establishing Excellence in Biomolecular Engineering & Synthetic Biology
Σχετικά με εμάς
Biomolecular engineering and synthetic biology are of great promise for European science. The Biomedical Sciences Research Center "Alexander Fleming" (BSRC Fleming) has gained international recognition for its pioneering research towards understanding the molecular basis of diseases. The Centre’s current major goal is to support excellent biomedical research, with a focus on innovation, and bring demonstrable effects to society. BSRC Fleming has planned to create the first integrated biotechnology hub in Greece, termed "Biotechnopolis," to accelerate the development of innovative biomedical products. The EU-funded Boost4Bio project will help the Centre attract an exceptional researcher and innovator to establish a new excellent team in biomolecular engineering and synthetic biology, promote bio-innovation and bio-entrepreneurship at the Centre and lead the establishment of “Biotechnopolis.”
