At EuroEnergy, we are dedicated to creating a positive impact and are excited to support the talented para-athlete Elisavet Iosifidou in her participation in the World Boccia Challenger in Poznan, Poland, this June. 🌟 Boccia is a Paralympic sport that tests muscle control and accuracy, similar to bowls. Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming Elisavet to our premises, along with her coaches and family members. We had the chance to get to know her and discuss her inspiring story and vision for the future. Elisavet's relentless drive for self-improvement, unwavering determination, and remarkable personality truly shone through. Her positive energy and passion for her sport were evident, leaving a lasting impression on our team. Elisavet exemplifies turning vision into reality through strength and determination, consistently securing top positions at the Panhellenic Boccia Championship since 2021. Her success extends to the international stage, where she has excelled at World Boccia Challengers as a member of the National Union of Para Athletes. Her exceptional achievements are supported by the Athletic Association "Iones”, home to 70 athletes of diverse abilities. 🎯 Our discussion with Elisavet was a source of inspiration, fueling our team with motivation and admiration. EuroEnergy is thrilled to announce the successful Energization of the Boguszyn project, a 20 MW solar park in the #Boguszyn precinct in southwest Poland. This marks our official entry into the Polish market, expanding our European footprint to include #Poland alongside Greece, Romania, and Croatia. Built together with our JV partner in Poland, Afcon Renewable Energy, EuroEnergy is also pleased to announce the signing of Credit Facilities with #mBankSA, totaling PLN 65.7 million, and that translates to almost 16million USD. These credit facilities will support the ongoing construction efforts across our solar portfolio in Poland, highlighting our dedication to advancing clean energy projects, while spurring positive impact on the local economy through job creation and investment. The plant is projected to generate an estimated annual clean energy of 22 GWh, enough to power approximately 11,300 households and a potential CO2 emission reduction of 14,800 metric tons annually, underscoring our commitment to facilitating the energy transition in Southeastern Europe. We are delighted to introduce Marcin Marczydło as the newly appointed Country Manager for EuroEnergy #Poland. In this pivotal role, Marcin will shape the country’s business strategy, manage the construction and development of the company’s Polish assets, and ensure the seamless execution of projects.     Marcin brings a wealth of experience and value to #EuroEnergy, having previously served as Country Manager at Enerland 2007 Fotovoltaica and Project Manager for RES projects at R Power. His expertise encompasses successful oversight of high-voltage networks and effective management of solar farms, including the role of Site Manager at INERGIS and other energy companies. His exceptional capabilities are augmented by valuable experience designing and managing construction sites. This #appointment represents a significant step for EuroEnergy in Poland, demonstrating our commitment to expanding our presence and securing the most adept team across our jurisdictions.
