This groundbreaking renewable energy project, is a remarkable symbol of international collaboration and innovation. This #Renewable #Energy project, is a joint effort between Israel, Poland, and Greece. Represents not only a significant step forward in our commitment to sustainable energy, but also a powerful testament to a strong, healthy, and committed partnership. Afcon Renewable Energy wins the Poland’s largest renewable energy auction since 2021 ✴️ We are excited to share the news - Afcon Renewable Energy wins the Poland’s largest #renewable energy auction since 2021, securing at least ILS 350 million of revenues, for 15 years. The significant win marks a major achievement for Afcon Renewable Energy, Afcon Holdings’ subsidiary, with the largest contract for the sale of clean energy since its establishment, while continuing the successes of previous projects in Poland that have already been connected to the electricity grid in the last two years; “Pozarowo” (40 MW) and “Boguszyn” (20 MW).   The contracted energy will be sold from Afcon’s “Grabno” #solar photovoltaic projects (two 50 MW facilities each), located in western #Poland and expected to produce more than 100 GWh of clean energy each year. The projects are jointly owned in equal shares by Afcon Renewable Energy and a limited partnership established by Afcon together with the #Menora Group and the #Migdal Group and together they are among the largest solar projects in Poland.    We are further expanding in Spain 📢 Afcon Renewable Energy happy to announce that we are further expanding our operation in Spain 🔆   Today we are happy to announce that we are adding a “Wolf” to our investment portfolio. Our new acquisition - EL LOBO project - is a 40MWp #solar PV plant, located in Alicante, #Spain. The project is in advanced development stages and expected to start construction within 2025, requiring a total investment of ca. 31M euros. The EL LOBO acquisition is complementing our Spanish portfolio backlog of projects totaling more than 120MWp of Solar PV materializing before 2027 and resulting in ~45.3 tons of CO2 emissions savings per year. The transaction was led by Dimitrios (Damon) A., Afcon Renewable Energy EVP, supported by Watson Farley & Williams Spain, on the legal side. Happy to share about a successful visit to India, at our new business partner Renom Energy Services Private Limited . In this visit, we signed together a long-term comprehensive Operation and Maintenance agreement. Now, Renom Energy Services Private Limited is the trusted service provider to Afcon Renewable Energy, ensuring efficiency and excellence in operations of our #wind farm Sirin & Gilboa.
