The Hellenic Impact Investing Network would like to welcome Switzerland and the Swiss Platform for Impact Investing to the global GSG Impact family, officially announced at the 2024 Building Bridges. The Swiss initiative, serving as the Swiss National Partner to GSG Impact, is poised to channel capital toward transformative and sustainable solutions, uniting stakeholders across the entire value chain of impact investing. The #HIIN, a proud member of the GSG Impact family, warmly welcomed the Swiss Platform for Impact Investing to the network. It was an honor for our Chairman, Kostis A. Tselenis, to attend the special welcoming event, celebrating this significant addition to the global impact ecosystem. It is a privilege to call many members of the Board not just collaborators but good friends, fellow #ImpactPioneers, and visionaries from its Chairman Rosa Sangiorgio to executive Board Members Julia Balandina Jaquier, Guillaume Bonnel and Dr. Katharina Sommerrock among others. Congratulations also and the Swiss Sustainable Finance team, as well as Kali Taylor and Tim Radjy for making this happen. We wish them every success as they embark on their journey as a GSG Local Partner. As 2024 comes to a close, we reflect on a year of achievements, partnerships, and advancements in promoting #ImpactInvesting as a tool for sustainable development in #Greece and the region. We are deeply grateful to our Board, donors, team, partners, and collaborators for supporting these efforts. 🌍1st Full Year as Greece’s National Advisory Board Our first year as Greece’s officially recognized Impact Organization under GSG Impact was marked by active promotion of the #ImpactAgenda and leadership in European initiatives. 📅The 2nd Hellenic Impact Investing Conference #HIIC24 became the premier impact forum for Greece and the region, bringing together global and local investors, policymakers and entrepreneurs with an exceptional Agenda. 📊#EcosystemMapping & the First #ImpactReport for Greece We completed a 2y mapping of Greece’s #ImpactEcosystem, securing its inclusion in Impact Europe's European #ImpactMapping initiative. The upcoming Hellenic #ImpactReport will feature key statistics and interviews from thought leaders from Greek, European and global organizations, marking a milestone for Greece. 🌐Global Engagement and Advocacy At United Nations #COP29 in #Baku, invited by Enterprise Greece SA we presented i.a. on #Reforestation and #EnergyTransition. We participated at global events such as #SuperReturn Berlin, Our Ocean Conference Athens, #ImpactWeek Bilbao, Phenix Capital Group #ImpactSummitEurope, #WEF Davos, Delphi Economic Forum, BuildingBridges Geneva, London Climate Action Week, and Tech Tour Athens, showcasing Greece’s potential and building collaborations. 🤝Global & Local Partnerships We strengthened ties with international and #EU organizations and state funds, while working close in key initiatives with leading impact partners such as Good Move Initiatives and Helidoni Group and renowned ecosystem builders such as Seedraised, Impact Hub Athens, Chatzigakis Foundation, Relevant Ventures and Eteron Institute. 🧠Promoting Thought Leadership and Knowledge Sharing HIIN led workshops on key impact themes and hosted a pioneering event with the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, sharing insights with Greek families and Foundations in Athens. 💸 Catalyzing Investments We highlighted Greece’s strengths in #EnergyTransition, #SustainableAgriculture & #SocialInnovation, putting Greece on the map of international investors, provided guidance to new impact fund initiatives and co-designed a three-stage #ImpactAccelerator to pipeline more capital into impact. 🏛️ Policy and Advocacy Initiatives Our work laid the foundation for the 2025 Agenda, providing support to Greek regulators and legal frameworks to promote impact in Greece. 🚀Looking Ahead: 2025 Priorities In 2025, HIIN will expand its initiatives with more support for impact financial products, dedicated #ImpactPapers on key themes, an #ImpactFramework and many many more!
