🌍 New EEA Civil Society Fund 🌍 Through the #EEANorwayGrants, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway have launched the new #CivilSocietyFund, marking an unprecedented commitment to #democracy, #humanrights, and the #ruleoflaw across Europe. With over €300 million in funding, this initiative represents a vital lifeline for civil society organisations at a time when democratic institutions face increasing challenges. This fund aims to: ✅ Strengthen democratic participation and values ✅ Advocate for human rights, equality, and social justice ✅ Promote climate action and a just green transition ✅ Build organisational capacity and resilience As Espen Barth Eide, Norway's Minister of Foreign Affairs, emphasises: "No single country can safeguard democracy alone.
