📢Incubation by Instituto Stocos (Madrid) a transdisciplinary dance production that explores the creative possibilities of the Dance Creation Environment, a set of modular tools developed within the European project PREMIERE. Presented at Teatro Museo Universidad de Navarra, Incubatio reconstructs ancestral Western rites that induced trance states for healing. The production integrates motion capture, AI, extended reality, electroacoustic music, and interactive light design to create a multisensory performance. The Dance Creation Environment played a key role in the process, providing tools for: ▪️ Movement analysis & synthesis to explore expressive choreography ▪️ Sound synthesis that translates movement into music ▪️ Visual & lighting tools for real-time interaction with performers By combining technological and artistic research, Incubatio demonstrates how these tools can support complex choreographic and dramaturgical work. #DanceTechnology #InstitutoStocos #premiereEU #MotionCapture #DigitalPerformance #performingarts

On December 6, 2024, Philharmonie de Paris hosted the worldpremière of NOUS, le RADEAU / WE, the LUST by choreographers Emio Greco | Pieter C Scholten and composer Franck Krawczyk. The creation process integrated the AI-Toolbox, developed by Stocos in PREMIERE, during four Experimental Ateliers at AHK-IDlab Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in May–November 2024. An interdisciplinary team gathered around ICK Dans Amsterdam ongoing research on ‘The Intuitive Body and AI’, exploring Motion Analysis, Sound Synthesis and other features of the AI-Toolbox. In this video, Alain Tremeau, Professor of Computer Vision at the University Jean Monnet, talks about the collaboration with dance and new media artist Gwendaline Bachini. Her performance was recorded using a setup of GoPro cameras to enable 3D reconstruction of the dancers' movements and trajectories on stage at the Laboratoire Hubert Curien (University Jean Monnet) as part of the PREMIERE project. He also provides an overview of PREMIERE round table discussion, “Extended Stages and Performing Practices."
