🌟 Exciting Update! 🌟 Last week, we had the pleasure of presenting our past and current capacity-building and research activities aimed at individuals with a migrant or refugee background residing in Thessaloniki. This presentation was made to an esteemed audience of migration experts from Italy, Ukraine, Germany, and Greece. We were honored to be invited by the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the Regional Development Fund of Central Macedonia to a peer review project meeting as part of the MILEstone (Interreg Europe) project. During the meeting, we showcased our initiatives, including the Card Game for Entrepreneurship for youth refugees and asylum seekers, and our Conflict Resolution Workshop for women with migrant and refugee backgrounds. A significant portion of our presentation focused on the key findings from our research conducted during the SustainHeR project: Promotion of Sustainable Employment for Vulnerable Women at Risk of Poverty and Social Exclusion. Our research delved into the current conditions of lifelong learning and vocational training for Third Country Nationals (TCN) women, as well as sustainable employment opportunities for TCN women at both national and European levels. The empirical data gathered from interviews with TCN women and surveys of Greek employers provided some fascinating insights, which we briefly discussed during our presentation. 🎄✨ Μια ξεχωριστή γιορτή για το 2024! ✨🎅 Η Διεύθυνση Κοινωνικής Προστασίας και Δημόσιας Υγείας του Δήμου Θεσσαλονίκης, το Κέντρο Κοινότητας και το Κέντρο Ένταξης Μεταναστών, διοργάνωσαν μια ιδιαίτερη χριστουγεννιάτικη εκδήλωση, αφιερωμένη στις ευάλωτες οικογένειες, με στόχο να μοιράσουν χαρά, αγάπη, αποδοχή και αξέχαστες αναμνήσεις! ❤️ 🌟Στη γιορτή συμμετείχαμε παίζοντας μπόουλινγκ με ανακυκλώσιμα χριστουγεννιάτικα στολίδια, ενώ η Φιλαρμονική Ορχήστρα Δήμου Θεσσαλονίκης-Thessaloniki Concert Band παρουσίασε χριστουγεννιάτικα τραγούδια από όλο τον κόσμο και παραδοσιακά κάλαντα 🎶🌍. 🎨 Το Children's Museum of Thessaloniki - Παιδικό Μουσείο Θεσσαλονίκης και τα ΚΔΑΠ ΜΕΑ Κύκλος πρόσφεραν δημιουργικά εικαστικά εργαστήρια, ενώ η εκδήλωση ολοκληρώθηκε με μια ξεσηκωτική μουσική παράσταση από τη μουσικοπαιδαγωγική ομάδα «Παιχνιδάτορες του Πύργου» της Παιδαγωγικής Σχολής του ΑΠΘ 🎭🎼. 😄 Τα χαμόγελα και η ζεστή φιλοξενία κυριάρχησαν, δημιουργώντας μια μοναδική χριστουγεννιάτικη εμπειρία! 💕 🎅 Καλή Χρονιά σε όλες και όλους, με δράσεις που γεμίζουν ζεστασιά τις καρδιές μας! 🌟🎄
