I travel 160+ days a year. Here’s how that influences my company and family: 👇🏻 I was 18 when I first left Europe and visited the US. My older son is 16 years old now and has already traveled all around the world. Why that makes me proud: → He treats all people and cultures fairly. Nowadays, we sadly… ❌ Listen to social media to understand the world ❌ Become biased and avoid visiting many countries ❌ Hold many prejudices about foreigners Result: We actually know nothing! And it’s not just about people. It’s also about their language, their food, their religion, and more. We need to educate ourselves first - and be curious! That’s why cyber-Wear has been international since '96. ✅ We work from locations in Europe, Asia, and the US. ✅ We approach projects from a global perspective. ✅ We employ people from all walks of life. My favorite travel spot? → Of course, new cultures are exciting! But it doesn’t have to be a new place every time. I enjoy my trips to Hamburg or even the Alps, as I believe we can learn from all places if we just ask the right questions. Do you travel a lot? Where are you going next?

Frohen 1. Advent vom gesamten cyber-Team! 🎄 Extra schön: Unsere cyber-Kalender wurden geöffnet! Wieso ist dieser Kalender besonders? 💡 2-in-1-Innovation: → Kombination aus Jahres- und Adventskalender. Nach dem 24. Dezember bleibt ein stilvoller Monatskalender. 🍃 Praktisch und nachhaltig: → Ein Versand, weniger Kosten und Emissionen (Großbrief möglich). Klimaneutrale Produktion, Made in Germany, komplett recycelbar (Mono-Material Papier).

DANKE an alle fleißigen Hände 🙌🏻 👍🏼.

I was ghosted again (by a job applicant)… …even though we already put in the work 😔! • Many meetings and long travels • Decisions approved by the team • Contracts drafted and budgets finalized After all that… …I just didn’t hear back. I think digital media and the pace we live in have changed how applicants—and people in general—treat responsibility, loyalty, and even manners. It’s simply easier to: 👻 → Ghost others to avoid conflict and continue your own life (e.g., when not taking a job offer) Instead of: ☝🏻 → Taking responsibility, communicating, and being respectful by, for example, calling or attending a meeting to explain that you’re declining XYZ job for ABC reasons. ❌ But that doesn’t make it right. While many companies also fail to follow these rules, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t either. In the end, it’s not just a company you’re mistreating—it’s real people. Something I’m currently working on myself is: ✅ Prioritization Especially to ensure I find the time to be respectful with all stakeholders I engage with—whether employees, partners, or clients. Getting better at this is my priority! What do you think? Have people lost a sense of manners and loyalty? Or are there new ways to support traits like these internally? P.S. Of course many applicants behave better! This is just a negative trend I’ve been observing in the last ~10 years.

I didn’t finish university, yet run a million $ business. In fact, I’ve hired many people without degrees! Why? I was 17 years old when we started cyber-Wear. While running the business, I started studying. But I quickly realized: I wasn’t growing! After two semesters, I quit to focus on cyber-Wear. Initially, my dad wasn’t thrilled, but he trusted me. 30 years later, I can say: → It was one of my best decisions ever. In these 30 years, a degree was never mandatory. So, we don’t ask our employees for one either and have hired many “non-academics.” Why? ❌ Studying ≠ Practical Experience! ❌ Academics ≠ Better Employees! ❌ Business ≠ Memorizing statistics and math! ✅ We hire for the person, not their degree. Of course, there are jobs that require theoretical knowledge (doctors, lawyers, etc.), but there are also many where studying CAN be a waste of time (sales, entrepreneurship, etc.). As a father of two, I have to say: → The German education system needs to be fixed from top to bottom. When I saw my sons writing tests that were exactly the same as 10+ years ago, I realized we've stagnated. We need to start teaching the younger generation things they actually need to grow in today's world. What do you think? How important are degrees these days? P.S. A few more examples of "university quitters": Karl Benz (Mercedes-Benz), Hasso Plattner (SAP), and Dieter Schwarz (Lidl).

We celebrated 30 years since starting our company! 🎉 And we’re proud of our roots! So, we had an idea: 👇🏻 To celebrate, let’s gift a hoodie to the entire team! ❌ But it’s not just a simple hoodie... ✅ It features one of our very first designs from 1994! ✅ It was designed with 100% cyber-spirit (branding)! ✅ It was produced by our newest supplier! The team and I were thrilled! I was especially excited about our new supplier: → Harvest/Texet (part of the New Wave Group)! I love working with “all-in-house” suppliers like them. They offer an individual approach, small-quantity options, "Made in Europe" with fast delivery, and access to a wide range of high-quality, in-stock products. I’m excited about everything we’ll accomplish together! Thanks again for the cool limited edition hoodie! 😊 P.S. What gifts do you give to your team? ⬇️ P.P.S. If you need any last minute gifts for your team or customers? Let me know!
