We saw something special happen at #HKFTW24. The first-ever Web3x3 tournament, a partnership with FTBL | FinTech Basketball League, brought the FinTech community together on the court for a great initiative, with all proceeds going to InspiringHK Sports Foundation 凝動香港體育基金 to support youth through sports in Hong Kong. 🏀 Beyond the serious finance talks, there was a real sense of connection, friendly competition, and some seriously impressive hoops. What an incredible experience it was to play in the Web3x3 Basketball Tournament at Hong Kong FinTech Week! With great teamwork, we won the bronze medal in the competitive games and made valuable connections with other FinTech industry practitioners. What a fantastic #Web3x3 charity finals at Hong Kong FinTech Week! It was result of an awesome collaboration between FTBL | FinTech Basketball League, #NBA, and #InspiringHK foundation. This marked the first-ever finance or tech conference to host a basketball tournament for web3 and fintech pros. A real milestone for FTBL, which has been uniting the finance and tech communities in Hong Kong through basketball, engaging over 1,000 professionals in mixed-gender teams over the past four years. We're thrilled to have raised funds through this tournament for the InspiringHK Sports Foundation 凝動香港體育基金, supporting local underprivileged kids with basketball training. Big thanks to Judy Kong and the IHK Sports team—looking forward to more joint efforts! #NBA Hong Kong stepped up as the Official Basketball Partner of Web3x3, enhancing the event with top-notch experiences at their NBA booth and exciting rewards for the winners.
