Celebrating Milestones Of Base Therapeutics! We’re excited to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our new partner company, Base Therapeutics! They’ve successfully closed their Series A2 financing round with Gobi Partners GBA to fuel their journey in innovative gene editing-based therapeutics. Additionally, they’ve been approved by both China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) and the US’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Phase I clinical trials of NK510 to treat solid tumors. Their core technology “AccuBase” allows precise modification of key genes in natural killer (NK) cells so they can target and destroy cancer cells more effectively. With NK510 being the world’s first base-edited NK cell product to get IND clearance, Base Therapeutics has the potential to unlock a new era in cancer treatment.
