This prestigious accolade, voted by the players, highlights the exceptional quality and excellence of the tournament. As the sponsor of the event, we at Prudential Hong Kong would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Hong Kong, China Tennis Association (#HKCTA) as the organiser of the Tournament, for receiving this honour. This #megaevent at Victoria Park saw over 50,000 attendees and featured top players like Simona Halep. Food connects people, transcending culture and age. For some of the elderly we served today, food brought back memories and stimulated their cognitive senses. Our Exco members, alongside dedicated PRUVolunteers, transformed into receptionists, chefs, and waiters of a Chinese Tea House to recreate a nostalgic and immersive Dim Sum experience at an elderly centre.   The elders, some of whom have swallowing difficulties, were served Dim Sum Soft Meals in the ambience of classic Cantopop. It was a day filled with warmth and laughter, as we hope to promote social inclusion and provide a dignified dining experience for the elderly.   We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Time Auction and The Project Futurus for their support in making this event a resounding success. A special thanks to our committed PRUVolunteers. During Volunteer Month, we saw over 800 colleagues engage in impactful community services, and we are committed to continuing these efforts for #EveryLifeEveryFuture. [Prudential at #InsurtechInsightsAsia2024] Prudential leaders continued to make a significant impact on Day 2. Key highlights include: - Anette Bronder, Chief Technology & Operations Officer, highlighted how emerging technologies present opportunities to reshape women’s role, particularly in the tech sector.   - Catherine Chia, Group Chief Human Resources Officer, discussed the importance of equipping leaders with the required soft skills which will, in turn, strengthen the effectiveness of the whole organisation.  - Callister Koh, Chief Human Resources Officer, emphasised the need for “Conscious Inclusion” moving away from “Unconscious Bias”, and shared how Prudential uses a targeted approach of education and action for DEI.  - Candy Au Yeung, Chief Customer Operations & Health Officer, stressed the importance of actively listening to customers’ feedback and collecting data to significantly improve customer’s experiences and service efficiency.  - Sam Lim, Chief Information Technology Officer, stated that Insurtech and traditional insurance companies can be effective partners if they share a common goal of understanding customer needs and improving distribution. Today, on International Volunteer Day, we celebrate the spirit of volunteerism and proudly acknowledge our PRUVolunteers for their unwavering commitment to serving the community. [Prudential at #InsurtechInsightsAsia2024] As the #Platinum sponsor once again at this Asia's premier Insurtech conference, our senior leaders took the stage on Day 1 with an aligned goal - to strategically align for the evolving insurance landscape shaped by #Insurtech. In the session titled "Hong Kong CEO Insights: Powering the Future through Health Innovation, Tech Disruption, and Market Evolution," our CEO, Lawrence Lam, emphasised Prudential’s commitment to enhancing #CustomerExperiences through AI and digital technologies. Volunteering plays a crucial role in building resilient communities, especially in times of crisis. Recently, 80 PRUVolunteers from 22 business units gathered in Sukhothai, Thailand, to help restore homes and build sanitary facilities for those affected by devastating flash floods. Among them were our colleagues from Prudential Hong Kong who participated in hands-on construction work designed to be accessible for all ages and abilities. In addition to the construction, the volunteers engaged with local children, teaching them about sustainability and the environment. This initiative not only brought tangible improvements but also highlighted the impact of climate change on the community. Since 2009, the PRUVolunteer programme, organised by Prudence Foundation, has been dedicated to serving those in need, reflecting our commitment to making a difference in the communities we serve.
