🎬 Swiss Movie Screening: "Le Procès du Chien" – A Great Evening! 🐾 A big thank you to everyone who joined us for Le Procès du Chien at the French Film Festival! The night featured an introduction by Alliance Française and a short speech by Deputy Consul General of Switzerland Françoise Killias Zillweger. Directed by Laetitia Dosch, the film brought humor and heart as lawyer Avril defends a dog in a quirky courtroom case. For those who missed it, there’s still a chance to watch it on 3rd December at MOViE MOViE Pacific Place. Yesterday, the Swiss Association of Hong Kong organized a fantastic Swiss Papercutting Design Workshop with artist Nick Tsao, founder of Papertecture, as part of the Swiss Month celebration. Participants explored the fascinating similarities between Swiss and Chinese papercutting traditions, creating their own unique designs that were digitally enhanced into bespoke pieces of art. 🖋️✨ The workshop, held at the Blue House in Wan Chai – a UNESCO Award of Excellence heritage site – was a perfect blend of creativity, culture, and heritage. Guests enjoyed Swiss drinks and snacks while learning from Nick, a former architect and papercutting expert. 🏠🍷 Thank you to all who joined us for this memorable experience!

The event also featured a “Mini-Swiss Convention” with Heads of Swiss Chambers of Commerce in China, Swiss Associations from Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong, the Swiss School Beijing & the Swiss Education Association Shanghai, Switzerland Tourism in China, Pro Helvetia China, Swiss Centers, and the China Delegate of the Organisation of the Swiss Abroad (OSA).
