This festive season, The Peninsula Tokyo introduces the "Toy Hospital," where children can bring their cherished, worn-out toys for loving repairs by our skilled toy doctors. With a touch of holiday magic, these beloved items are restored to delight their young owners once again. This heartwarming initiative is part of our CRS and sustainability efforts. Additionally, we donate to the Japan Toy Hospital Association as part of our festive charity program, enhancing the holiday spirit and offering families a special bonding experience.

We take great pride in The Peninsula Hong Kong for hosting participants from HSH operations in Asia for the annual Oxfam Trailwalker, one of the largest fundraising sports events in Hong Kong.  We are dedicated to providing support and care to our walkers as they brave the challenging weather conditions this year. From the moment the teams departed The Grande Dame, embarking on their arduous 100 km journey, they have exemplified more than mere competition. They have showcased the teamwork and unwavering commitment of the Peninsula family.

This festive season, Santa Claus is swapping his sleigh for The Peninsula London’s electrified 1965 Austin Taxi. Watch as Santa, with a little help from a Peninsula Page, saves Christmas!

As autumn unfolds, The Peninsula Hong Kong team recently hosted two dinner gatherings to celebrate the peak season of hairy crab, a beloved traditional Chinese delicacy.

The countdown to Christmas has officially begun at The Peninsula Manila. Celebrating the holiday spirit with our 45-foot Christmas tree and the enchanting melodies of the Ateneo Chamber Singers, the hotel is filled with the joyful smiles of our guests and employees.

Announcing Vincent Prioult’s new role as Hotel Manager of The Peninsula Bangkok. Since joining us in 2012, Vincent has excelled in key positions at The Peninsula Tokyo, Chicago, and Shanghai, and most recently as Vice President, Rooms Operations and Quality at Head Office. His leadership has been pivotal in the openings of The Peninsula Istanbul and London. Congratulations, Vincent, and best wishes for continued success in Bangkok!

The team takes great pride in these prestigious accolades, which reflect their commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends and consistently exceeding guest expectations.

On 31 October 2024, we wished a “Happy Retirement” to our CEO Clement Kwok after 23 years of service to the company. Colleagues from our Hong Kong operations gathered at the Peak Tower Sky Terrace 428 for cocktails and photograph-taking with Mr Kwok. This memorable event was followed by a lively Peak Tram journey back to Central, where we waved him off in a waiting Rolls-Royce, after racing to the “Finishing Line - Happy Retirement” ribbon! Happy Retirement Mr Kwok and thank you for everything!
