As a founding member of the Family Office Association Hong Kong, Wisdom Family Office celebrates the success of 2024 Summer Internship Program at the Annual Gala Luncheon earlier this week. Wisdom Family Office and FOAHK collaborated to deliver an impactful eight-week internship program, supported by the Honourable Mr. Joseph H.L. Chan, Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, along with leading experts from banking, fintech, private equity, legal, and financial services. This program provided young professionals with valuable insights into the dynamic world of family offices. As the Chair of FOAHK Education and Research Committee, our Chairman, Mr. Grant Ko, is a strong advocate for driving key educational initiatives. In his keynote address, he celebrated the achievements of the 2024 Case Competition and the Summer Internship Program, while unveiling exciting plans for 2025.  Next year, we embarked on several impactful collaborations, including partnering with The Chinese University of Hong Kong on a white paper initiative, joining forces with The University of Hong Kong Family Wealth Management program to launch a master's-level Capstone Project, and working with VMS Group to begin the 2025 Case Competition. 🎬 A Journey of Self-Discovery with Edward Lam - “Seeing the Unseen 找到看不見的自己”🎬 We are delighted to share highlights from our recent fireside chat featuring renowned director Edward Lam (林奕華), held exclusively for #WisdomFamilyOffice ’s summer interns. This unique event was a profound exploration of #selfdiscovery and existence through the lens of #cinema, adding another enriching chapter to our diverse internship program this year. Edward captivated our interns by using movie clips to illustrate the concept of understanding one's identity and how others perceive us. As he eloquently put it, 「人生就是看不見自己的過程」 (“Life is a process of not seeing oneself”), and 「戲劇就是追求折射，他人對你的認知，折射才會有不同的角度」 (“#Drama is about seeking reflection; it's others' perceptions that provide different angles”). The inspirational session allows both our interns and employees to reflect on their purpose and different possibilities in life, equipping us with fresh perspectives to navigate the complexities of life and work. We extend our gratitude to Edward for his inspiring insights and gave this special “moments” to our interns.
