The workshop will be divided in three parts: (1) Introduction to Empirical Methods, (2) Case Studies in Social Sciences, and (3) Making Use of Case Studies in Legal Research. The workshop is particularly designed for junior researchers (PhD and postgraduate students), but it is also open to more experienced academics. The workshop will be held by Hubert Bekisz (European University Institute), in English and without translation. ➖ 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐣𝐚 “𝐇𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐬𝐤𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐬𝐮đ𝐞 𝐧𝐚𝐤𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝘏𝘢𝘯𝘯-𝘐𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵” U ponedjeljak, 9. rujna 2024., u Kući Europe održana je konferencija ‘Hrvatsko pravosuđe nakon presude 𝘏𝘢𝘯𝘯-𝘐𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵’. Konferencija je organizirana u sklopu Jean Monnet modula za europsko ustavno pravo i metodologiju Katedre za europsko javno pravo Pravnog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, čija je nositeljica doc. dr. sc. Nika Bačić Selanec, u suradnji s Predstavništvom Europske komisije u Republici Hrvatskoj. Na konferenciji se raspravljalo o presudi Suda Europske unije u spojenim predmetima C-554/21, C-622/21 i C-727/21 𝘏𝘢𝘯𝘯-𝘐𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵, koja je objavljena 11. srpnja 2024. godine. U toj je presudi hrvatski mehanizam ujednačavanja sudske prakse putem sudaca evidentičara te obvezujućih pravnih stajališta sjednica sudskih odjela proglašen suprotnim pravu Europske unije. Konferencija je okupila najvažnije dionike pravosudnog sustava Republike Hrvatske. Na njoj su govorili profesori Pravnog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, suci drugostupanjskih sudova, suci Vrhovnog suda, Ustavnog suda i Suda Europske unije, te predstavnici Ministarstva pravosuđa, uprave i digitalne transformacije. U dva stručna panela razgovaralo se o pozadini presude Hann-Invest, njenom sadržaju i implikacijama, a potom i o očekivanim izmjenama zakonodavnog okvira i sudske prakse. Konferenciji je prisustvovalo 90 sudionika, od čega preko 50 njih iz redova sudstva ▫
