Strain chair variations create the perfect solution for both residential and public spaces. In addition to the chair with a seat height of 45 cm, the Strain collection also includes a low chair with a seat height of 37 cm. The Strain low chair is a hybrid between a chair and an armchair. It was designed as a chair that can easily blend in smaller interiors but simultaneously provide comfort of an armchair. The Strain low chair can be combined with or without a functional armrest that follows that main idea. With intertwined leg junctions providing the required firm construction, this low chair follows the main characteristic of the whole Strain collection. To obtain additional comfort, the seat can be upholstered in textile. A RETROSPECT 2024 Fairs At Orgatec 2024, we presented our expanded Contract collection, designed to meet the evolving demands of modern hospitality and office spaces. The exhibition, created by Altherr Désile Park, offered visitors an immersive experience of our design philosophy. At IMM, we introduced the Circle Bar, an immersive space reminiscent of a nightclub. Meanwhile, our expanded Design Post space embraced dramatic and moody tones, offering visitors a compelling sensory experience. At Salone del Mobile 2024, we unwrapped our classic lounge chair Rei and the sculptural, playful sofa Buffa, new designs created in collaboration with Numen/ForUse. In an era where comfort reigns supreme, Rei and Buffa offered a remarkable blend of immediate comfort and contemporary design. At Neocon Fair, we showcased our innovative furniture collection, where boldness, comfort, and craftsmanship come together in designs created entirely in-house at our Croatian factory. MDK production and business building 📍 Dubrovčan, Croatia MDK production and business building is an office building for the construction company MDK from Croatia. It's located in Dubrovčan, a town northwest of Zagreb characterized by its rural and natural surroundings. The design follows the natural slope of the terrain, shaping three grassy mounds that define the central space and pedestrian access paths. Anchored within this dynamic context is a horizontal disc—a simple, ground-level structure with a square floor plan organized around a central circular atrium, resting atop the three green mounds. “Prostoria furniture was an excellent choice because we used pieces like the #Segment sofa or #Monk armchair to accentuate the space. We chose Prostoria because we believe we share the same passion for good design and quality. In our work, we often look for inspiration in mid-20th-century modernism—the 1950s and 1960s.
