🌿🚜 From September 15-17, SEASN organized an enriching study trip for the Carinthian Chamber of Agriculture in Croatia! Participants explored diverse agricultural practices, including mussel farming, organic dairy, sustainable wood processing, and organic cosmetics. Each farmer impressed us with tastings, blending fun and learning while allowing us to connect with the local agricultural community. The experience deepened our understanding of sustainable practices in Croatia and highlighted the dedication and hard work of local producers. #SEASN #Agriculture #SustainableFarming #Networking #Croatia

✨ La semaine dernière, j’ai eu le plaisir d’organiser la conférence finale du projet #i2connect à Varna, en Bulgarie, un événement marquant de 3 jours qui a réuni 90 participants de toute l'Europe ! 🌍 Cette rencontre a été l’occasion idéale pour partager les résultats du projet et échanger sur le sujet de l'innovation en #agriculture, ainsi que sur le rôle central des conseillers agricoles comme facilitateurs de l’innovation. Les participants ont non seulement découvert les avancées d’i2connect, mais ont également eu l'opportunité de faire du réseau avec des membres d’autres projets européens, ouvrant ainsi la voie à de nouvelles collaborations. 🤝 📋 Durant ces 3 jours, nous avons abordé : - La structuration des AKIS nationaux en Europe et leur rôle crucial dans le soutien à l'innovation agricole 🌍 - Le partage de bonnes pratiques et d'exemples concrets d’innovation interactive, illustrant des réussites sur le terrain 💡 - Des sessions axées sur les compétences clés que les conseillers agricoles doivent acquérir pour faciliter et dynamiser l'innovation collaborative 🛠️ - Des ateliers pratiques sur les outils et méthodes de formation développés au sein du projet, visant à renforcer les capacités des conseillers 🎓 Un grand merci à tous les participants pour leur enthousiasme, leur engagement et leurs idées stimulantes. It has been an incredible week hosting the 63rd IALB, 13th EUFRAS, and 10th SEASN Conference at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh. We were delighted to welcome almost 200 delegates from more than 15 countries and were inspired by 43 insightful speakers over four days of lively discussions. Our field trips spanned 38 locations, with eight buses covering over 1,400 miles, providing attendees with a hands-on experience of local agriculture and advisory services. 📢📢📢Final Reminder The #i2connect final conference will take place from the 1st to the 3rd of October 2024 in Varna, Bulgaria! Our Horizon 2020 project aims to empower advisors and facilitators to support interactive innovation processes in the agriculture and forestry sectors. 🎯 This event is aimed at several target groups: #EIPAGRI facilitators, #advisors in #agriculture, #forestry or rural development, their #managers, innovation support services, #trainers for these various groups, as well as researchers working on interactive innovation and public authorities. 👀💡It will be the last opportunity to discover the outcomes of i2connect: national AKIS studies, in-depth case studies of interactive innovation projects across Europe, training contents and materials, a toolkit for facilitators, a pool of trained experts - trainers, advisors, managers and students - who can be contacted via i2connect’s “Advisory Services Database”... These outcomes will be presented in an interactive format, inviting contributions and reflections from participants. 🌱 Successful Innovation Training for Rural Advisors in Szatmárnémeti! On June 11-12, 2024, SEASN members, the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture (NAK), and Széchenyi István University (SZE) held an engaging two-day interactive innovation training for 16 rural advisors from the Partium region in Szatmárnémeti. This event, part of the i2connect EU project, focused on enhancing the skills of agricultural advisors to foster innovation. The i2connect project connects over 40,000 advisors across 21 countries. The strategy of i2connect is to make the existing advisory networks and good practices widely available by supporting grassroots innovation. Trainers Agnes Jakab (NAK) and Dr. András Vér (SZE) led innovation, networking, and skill development sessions, providing practical solutions and strengthening advisor-farmer relationships. #agriculture #advisors #AdvisoryNetwork #RuralDevelopment #innovation
