Balenciaga's "Summer Objects" Want You to Find Your Nearest Beach

The line, which includes “B”-branded volleyballs, boogie boards, racquets and more, arrives alongside a Paris-inspired “Souvenir Shop.”

This summer, Balenciaga wants to get you off your couch and onto a sporty beach. The Paris-based fashion house has just dropped off its latest round of “Summer Objects,” a comprehensive lineup of “B”-branded sporting equipment and warm-weather accessories to Demna-fy your hot days off.

The line includes a volleyball, a large towel, a boogie board, a half dozen pétanque boules and a racquet set—all of which are finished in all-black and marked with Balenciaga’s signature iconography.

Building on the brand’s “It’s Different” campaign concept, quintessential taglines—“Life’s a Beach,” “It’s Your Turn,” “Out Of Office” and “All Fun And Games”—caption each of the outdoor items’ promotional images, which center the products on a white seamless backdrop.

And for those traveling to Paris through September, Balenciaga has crafted a fully-fledged “Souvenir Shop” filled with collectibles inspired by the French capital. Galvanized by classic tourist traps, the line features mugs, umbrellas, porcelain tumblers, metal magnets, keyrings, padlocks, plates, glasses, snow globes and a round of “I Heart Paris and Balenciaga” ready-to-wear items.

Balenciaga’s Summer Objects and Souvenir Shop collections are now available to shop on the brand’s webstore. Notably, the biggest selection of the imprint’s souvenirs will be available at its Paris flagship. Take a look at both lines in the gallery above.
