Boreham Motorworks, part of the DRVN Automotive Group, has signed a brand license agreement with Ford to revive some of the automaker’s most iconic vehicles. This partnership will see Boreham Motorworks produce a series of continuation and remastered versions of historic Ford models, starting with the legendary Ford RS200 and the Group 5 Ford MK1 Escort.

The Ford RS200, known for its performance in the World Rally Championship, will be the first new iconic vehicle to return under this agreement. Boreham Motorworks will build this model from the ground up, delivering a peak analog driving experience. The RS200, originally launched in 1984, is celebrated for its mid-engine layout, four-wheel-drive system and lightweight composite body, making it a revered rally car.

In addition, Boreham Motorworks will produce a continuation version of the Ford MK1 Escort, a model synonymous with motorsport success since its introduction in the late 1960s. This vehicle will be created with blueprint-accurate details and continuation VIN numbers, preserving its historical significance and handling capabilities.

At the time of writing, purchase registration is open for the limited production vehicles via Boreham Motorworks’ official site. The group also teased that there is more to come, with at least five other iconic Ford vehicles to be celebrated over the course of the series.
