Kicking off CES 2025 with plenty of newness Samsung has announced Vision AI, the electronics brand’s all-new AI-powered technology, which aims to transform TVs from passive devices to interactive companions that respond to viewers and their environments.

SW Yong, President and Head of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics said in an official statement “With Samsung Vision AI, we’re reimagining what screens can do, connecting entertainment, personalization, and lifestyle solutions into one seamless experience to simplify your life.”

Key features include Click to Search, which allows viewers to get immediate information about ongoing streaming without disrupting the media experience, and Live Translate, which uses real-time AI subtitle translation. The SmartThings AI ecosystem can provide safety alerts and daily updates regarding the home, including pets and children, further connecting with the smart home ecosystem. To give viewers the best entertainment experience, AI-driven picture and sound technologies dynamically adapt visuals and audio by analyzing environmental factors.
