This event is part of the SheHacks 2024 series and is designed to support five Indonesian women-led startups in exploring investment, mentorship, and global innovation opportunities. The program is supported by the Australia Indonesia Institute (AII), the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), and KUMPUL.ID as the organizing partner. We believe that through this initiative, Indosat can help expand the network of startup players globally and open up greater opportunities on the world stage. Following the initial aid provided during the emergency phase, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison continues its efforts by extending additional support to assist the recovery of communities impacted by the Mount Lewotobi eruption. This assistance includes Prepaid SIM cards (Starter Packs), FWA HiFi Air devices, internet data packages, a Base Transceiver Station (BTS), and thousands of health masks to help meet the community’s immediate needs. We sincerely hope this ongoing support will strengthen the resilience and unity of the Lewotobi community during their recovery, helping them return to normal activities as soon as possible. Youth-Tech Challenge 2024, a collaboration between Indosat and Twimbit, has reached its grand finale! Huge congratulations to the RRR Innovators team from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) for taking home first place. Second place went to KBM Plus from Bina Nusantara University, and third place was claimed by Ruther, also from ITB. With their presentation on agriculture, RRR Innovators wowed the judges—Muhammad Buldansyah (Director & Chief Business Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison) and Manoj Menon (Founder & CEO of Twimbit)—earning the top score across all criteria. Sebagai bentuk dukungan bagi masyarakat yang terdampak erupsi Gunung Lewotobi Laki-Laki, Indosat hadir memberikan bantuan komunikasi demi menjaga konektivitas dan kelancaran aktivitas di masa sulit. Berikut langkah Indosat yang telah dan akan dilakukan: 1. Jaringan Indosat mendukung komunikasi di posko utama, Waigete, yang didirikan oleh Kementerian Komdigi. 2. Mendistribusikan 450 starter pack paket data IM3 dan Tri secara bertahap 3. 6 Unit WiFi support yang telah diaktifkan untuk mendukung akses internet di sekitar posko. 4. Inject paket data IM3 (1.5GB/3 hari) untuk 163 pelanggan dan paket data Tri untuk 2,565 pelanggan. 5. Distribusi 300 starter pack tambahan untuk guru dan siswa di pengungsian guna mendukung proses belajar mengajar. 6. Melanjutkan koordinasi untuk memperluas bantuan kepada lebih banyak masyarakat. Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison is proud to receive the prestigious World Public Relations and Communication Awards 2024 in the Best Internal Communication Campaign category for the "Employee Carbon Offset (ECO)" program. This award was presented on November 20 at the World Public Relations Forum in Bali. This recognition highlights Indosat's remarkable success in 2023, engaging employees to care for the environment by understanding CO2 emission sources, tracking daily emissions via a digital platform, and collectively planting mangroves. With the spirit of "Small Steps for Big Impact," ECO achieved significant milestones in its first year, including establishing three mangrove plantation sites in Indramayu, Makassar, and Aceh, also inspiring our employees to plant 7,400 mangroves. In 2024, ECO expands its vision by introducing a new initiative: building a digital studio at SMAN 6 Ambon using materials made from recycled plastic bottles collected by Indosat employees.
