Happy National Garbage Concern Day! It’s time for us to turn waste into opportunities. Mothers supported by WVI through the PHINLA project have demonstrated that by managing waste properly, we can not only create savings for our families' future but also maintain a clean and beautiful environment. The economies of families in East Jakarta have been thriving since they consistently managed and processed waste. The women in this area run a Waste Bank, where waste can be converted into savings for the future of their children and families. Op-Ed by the National Director of Wahana Visi Indonesia, Angel Theodora, in Kompas Say Enough to Stunting and Child Nutrition Issues In early 2024, 93 child researchers from 11 provinces, together with the Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) research team, conducted a study on stunting, malnutrition, and child marriage. The research gathered data from 34 provinces and was presented to the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, the Ministry of Health, and various other key stakeholders.
