Authentic Dengaku

Address - 〒869-1602 熊本県阿蘇郡高森町高森2685-2 Ambiance/Facilities - authentic, localized, rustic Highlights - Dengaku is a local farmer's cuisine - BBQ skewers with miso sauce。 This restaurant is one of the most popular Dengaku resto. Although we were served walk-in, apparently they work with reservations. There are a few meal sets - Aka Beef course, Vegetarian course and a Chicken one. Appetizers, soups and standard BBQ skewers of Tofu and Konyaku were included with the courses. We were shown a 'station' that required sitting on floor - which is quite a numbing experience for us City Folks, but its Well Worth it. The food is great, the experience is precious, the rustic atmosphere is magical and they really try to help out.
