That's our Elvas 1-5 project in Portugal, just connected to the grid! 🇵🇹 ⚡ 6,05 MWp 🐑 Located on former cattle grazing land near a reservoir, the site has been prepared with sustainability in mind. During the operation phase, it will support sheep grazing as part of its operation and maintenance (O&M) strategy. The attached photo captures a moment during the Mechanical Completion inspection, featuring our colleague Jose Maria Lozano (Engineering team) and Vasco Forte Figueira from our engineer, Skyray. ☀️🇪🇺 Amarenco is refocusing on Europe to tackle the energy challenges of tomorrow! In this interview with Les Echos, Alain Desvigne discusses securing a €0.5 bn capex financing facility from a consortium of European banks. This strategic financing will enable us to accelerate the construction of 100 new solar power plants, totaling 600 MW of capacity, spread over Spain, Portugal, Ireland, and Austria. 📰🇫🇷 : https://lnkd.in/eCPYXjxp 💡 Europe faces monumental challenges in energy and ecological transition. 🏆 Amarenco remporte le Trophée Everest 2024 décerné par Groupe Enerfip à l'occasion du Forum EnerGaïa, pour son financement participatif record ! La Nuit des EnR le 11 décembre au Forum EnerGaïa a permis de mettre en lumière notre projet Claudia, une solution de stockage d’énergie de 105 MW située à Saucats, en Gironde. 🌱 Amarenco au Forum EnerGaïa 2024 : des échanges passionnants sur la #RSE dans les énergies renouvelables. À l'occasion d'une table ronde, notre cheffe de projet #ESG et Régénération, Merle Piest, a eu l’opportunité d’échanger sur des sujets cruciaux pour notre secteur. 💡 Ces discussions nous ont permis de mettre en lumière l’importance de la RSE dans notre secteur, en confirmant le rôle clé des pratiques régénératives et coopératives d’Amarenco, mais également le fait que nous devons continuer à sensibiliser nos parties prenantes aux impacts, risques et opportunités ESG liés au photovoltaïque et au stockage pour évoluer vers une approche écosystémique véritablement régénérative. ☀️🍃 France renouvelables sort son livret d'expertise "Photovoltaïque et biodiversité", avec un focus sur notre programme ECHO ! Cette publication met en lumière les bonnes pratiques du secteur solaire pour concilier développement des énergies renouvelables et protection de la #biodiversité. À travers notre programme ECHO, nous allons au-delà des exigences réglementaires pour faire des projets photovoltaïques de véritables acteurs de la régénération écologique. 🍃 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗙𝗗𝟭𝟱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗠 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁 At Amarenco, we are excited to share two transformative projects in Occitania 🇫🇷 that combine renewable energy production with ecological restoration. Amarenco has been awarded these two new projects from the CRE calls for tenders. 👉 The AFD15 project in Briatexte will convert a 3.3-hectare former industrial site into a 2.5 MWp solar power plant, producing 3.5 GWh annually: enough to power 740 households. Beyond energy, the project includes creating ponds for Agile Frogs, relocating plant beds, and strengthening the riparian forest. The goal is to commission the plant by 2026. 👉 Meanwhile, the GM Invest project in Sallèles-d’Aude will transform a 13.9-hectare post-agricultural site into a 12 MWp photovoltaic plant, producing 17.8 GWh annually to power 3,730 households. The site will also feature vineyards, olive trees, and a 2.2-hectare public agroforestry forest. Through soil regeneration and educational spaces, the project, currently under review, promotes ecosystem resilience and community engagement, with commissioning also planned for 2026. These projects highlight our commitment to harmonizing clean energy production with ecological innovation.
