Publication Alert! 📑 We used nickel in place of costly noble metals in our anode catalysts, improving the kinetics of the oxygen evolution reaction (OER). Anode OER catalysts often rely on expensive noble metals, driving up costs. We aim to make hydrogen production cheaper so this technology can become a reallity. Proud to have Agfa, one of our industry partners, leading the way in implementing manufacturability and scalability! 🏭 They will design and test scale-up processes for membrane production, validation and cost evaluation. AGFA will also help to make the membrane-electrodes-assemblies larger, as part of this upscaling projection. Typically, #AEMWEs operate at current densities below 3 A/cm², a range provides a stable output. But what if we push this to ultrahigh current densities, up to 10 A/cm²? 🤔 We took on this challenge...and surpassed it brilliantly!
