Who said that hardware guys are all work, no fun? Yesterday at tinyML Foundation #emea2024 our friends from GreenWaves Technologies showed what in my modest opinion is the most fun demo ever: NN-based sound separation running in real-time on #GAP9 on a power budget of a few tens of milliwatts. 🎶🎶🎶 This ultra-cool result is possible thanks to the great efficiency and flexibility of the open-source PULP Platform architecture, balancing parallel #riscv computing with cooperative hardware acceleration using the #ne16 NPU.

Unmatched separation quality, a sleek new user interface, and much lower CPU usage make for superb overall performance for top-notch vocal removal and terrific karaoke backing tracks on the fly.
