On Monday, 16th September 2024 Iarnród Éireann, Dublin Bus, Bus Éireann and CIÉ group holding company marked the achievement of obtaining IBEC’s Keep Well Mark, a national accreditation that recognises and celebrates organisations that put the health and wellbeing of employees at the centre of company policy.
IBEC’s accreditation process measured each organisation’s performance against a set of recognised standards across eight pillars of wellbeing. The process included self-assessment, action plans, evidence gathering, site visits, focus groups and interview with staff across each organisation. Areas include leadership, absence management, health & safety, mental health, smoke free initiatives, physical activity, healthy eating, and intoxicant avoidance/reduction.
