Located on the 17th floor of the iconic MetLife Building on Park Avenue, this state-of-the-art hub will house the Consulate General of Ireland, New York, Bord Bia - The Irish Food Board, Enterprise Ireland USA, IDA Ireland, Tourism Ireland, The Ireland Funds and CIE Tours – all under one roof. This exciting space will provide a platform to advance Ireland’s interests and values in the city of New York, the region and in the US as a whole.  The Tánaiste remarked, “I have no doubt that Ireland House New York will serve us well in the years ahead as a hub for diplomacy, trade, business, tourism; promoting Irish food and culture and ensuring we can maximize our collective impact in New York.” A special moment for CIE Tours was the presentation of a framed photo of the Tánaiste’s late father, Paddy Martin, who was a driver for CIE and CIE Tours for many years. Attendees included CIÉ - Córas Iompair Éireann CEO Lorcan O'Connor and representing CIE Tours Managing Director Stephen Cotter, CFO Stacy Riback, and CCO Rosanne Zusman. CIE Tours is proud to be co-sponsoring Project Children's March to Monaghan, celebrating next year’s 50th anniversary of the pioneering peacemaking organization. Between 1975 and 2015, Project Children enabled 23,000 children from Northern Ireland to escape their warring communities and spend a summer in America. These visits had a powerful impact, planting seeds for the peace process that resulted in the Good Friday Agreement of 1998.
