In what is a first for Irish ports, Port of Waterford and Boskalis have partnered with Certa to undertake a maintenance dredging campaign using Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO). Utilising HVO instead of Marine Gas Oil will prevent 100 tonnes of carbon entering the atmosphere. Recently, several line managers participated in Performance Management training led by Catherine Curran from Level4 in preparation for mid-year reviews. The primary goal of this training was to strengthen their abilities in establishing clear, measurable objectives, delivering constructive feedback, and conducting evaluations. At Certa, we are dedicated to helping our colleagues develop their skills and talents. This summer, our Depot Supervisors and Assistant Supervisors participated in a variety of training sessions, covering topics such as Customer Service, HR Essentials, Energy Transition, and more. To celebrate the conclusion of this year’s training, the team gathered for a bonding day in Kilkenny. They enjoyed an afternoon of bowling and arcade games, followed by a team dinner.
