Customers tell us they find fluctuations in energy prices frustrating. So we’re excited to launch our brand new Solar as a Service offering to help. It’s a clever piece in the green energy puzzle. And it brings us new customers in a fast-growing market. How does it work? ✅ DCC Energy customers pay a fixed monthly fee through a power purchase agreement for clean, green electricity generated from panels on their roof. ✅ Customers get certainty over energy prices for 15 or 20 years with no high upfront costs. ✅ DCC Energy enjoys a closer relationship with customers – creating opportunities for new recurring revenue streams. DCC Energy is delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SHV Energy launching a collaboration to address the supply challenges for renewable liquid gas (rLG), including in particular renewable and recycled carbon dimethylether (rDME). “This initiative will bring us closer to realising our goal to provide cleaner energy to everyone”, says Fabian Ziegler, CEO of DCC Energy. "It is part of our published strategy to find even lower carbon solutions for our millions of liquid gas customers." Great news!
DCC Energy’s #Wewise launches “Solar as a Service” offering With our “Cleaner Energy In Your Power” strategy we do energy differently by putting more renewable, decentralised energy solutions in the power of our customers. Our mission is to act as trusted partner to our 1.7 mln customers through the Energy trilemma of affordability, availability and sustainability. We are progressing well in replacing fossil molecules with Bio molecules, taking a leading Bio marketer position in Europe. Our most fundamental change however is building a leading Energy management services (EMS) business, centred on Solar+ solutions for B2B customers. Our #Wewise network, comprising 18 EMS companies across eight European countries, enables us to deliver exceptional energy solutions with over 1000 outstanding employees who are dedicated to meeting the needs of our customers. As our network grows across Europe - and in time to the U.S. - our impact continues to expand. I am very pleased to share that starting in Ireland with #Flogas and #AEI we have just launched our fully integrated solar financing solution for business customers". This will be rolled out next to France, the UK, Germany and Austria and then throughout the entire Wewise network. We are initially targeting installing over 150 MWp of PV systems in Ireland and France, and aim to increase that in due course. It’s a positive piece in the green energy puzzle. And it brings us new customers in a fast-growing market. How does it work? ✅ DCC Energy customers pay a fixed monthly fee through a power purchase agreement for clean, green electricity generated from panels on their roof. ✅ Customers get certainty over energy prices for 15 or 20 years with a turnkey solution, there is no upfront costs, and we deliver maintenance support throughout the term to ensure full availability of the system. ✅ DCC Energy enjoys a closer relationship with customers – creating opportunities for new recurring revenue streams. DTGen, a DCC Energy business, has delivered an innovative cogeneration energy solution for UWC Atlantic College in Wales. Using a TEDOM UK combined heat and power (CHP) unit, which operates on liquid gas supplied by Flogas Britain, this technology offers an efficient and sustainable energy solution, helping to reduce both the carbon footprint and energy costs for the college campus. The solution is future proofed as the CHP unit can also be run on biogas or a hydrogen blend. What is cogeneration? Cogeneration, or combined heat and power (CHP), is a system that produces heat and electricity simultaneously in a single plant, powered by one primary energy source. #DCCEnergy #FTSE100 #CoGeneration #EnergySolution
