About us
Dublin City University Business School is EQUIS, AACSB, AMBA & SBC accredited, placing it in the top 1% of Business Schools Worldwide. We have redefined the boundaries of the traditional business school, collaborating on multiple levels with business, industry and government. Being responsive to the needs of people, organisations, economies and societies is at the heart of all of our programmes, and it gives us a momentum not readily achieved by older institutions. We develop our students’ capability to bring sustainable value to their organisations and to society at large, to confidently manage and lead in environments that are not predictable, and to prepare them for diverse, dynamic career paths over their lifetimes. The quality of our teaching, small class sizes and high levels of industry engagement make us stand out, and have been recognised by AACSB, the oldest and most prestigious global accrediting body for business schools. In everything we do, we do it with an energy and an entrepreneurial zeal that is our hallmark. It is what we are known for, as part of Ireland’s University of Enterprise, located in one of Europe’s most thriving business locations, Dublin city, European headquarters hub for the world’s top technology, financial services, pharma and life sciences. We focus on strategically important business sectors in Ireland, and take pride in the impact our engagement has on Irish industry and, increasingly, on international organisations. We recognise that these connections are key to delivering a unique student experience. Our solid industry relationships have allowed us to instil an enterprising culture into our courses, which has resulted in DCU Business School’s reputation as being Ireland’s most innovative business school.

🔊As my first semester abroad nears its end, I interviewed the CEO of ESSCA Grande École de Management🇨🇵 I had the opportunity to interview Jean CHARROIN, CEO of ESSCA. Thank you, Mr.Charroin, for your time and for enhancing my experience here. As a student in France, I feel it’s only fitting to write this piece in French😊 Partenariat avec DCU🇮🇪: L'ESSCA et Dublin City University offre un enrichissement académique et culturel unique, alliant divers styles d'apprentissage.

What an incredible evening we had last night with the amazing Sonya Lennon at our Let's Lead! DCU Leadership Development for Women Christmas Alumni event! Sonya, a true champion of women’s empowerment, shared her powerful insights with both our current and past students. From embracing change to standing up for ourselves, Sonya explained that women have navigated monumental life changes throughout our lives, so we shouldn’t fear change. Instead, we should approach it with the mindset of entrepreneurs – eager, adaptable, and ready to take on whatever comes next. From our first period to moments of broodiness, pregnancy, postpartum, lactation, peri-menopause, menopause, and post-menopause, change is a constant for women. While we may not always welcome it, we have learned to embrace it because it’s simply a part of who we are. Sonya also emphasized that we don’t have to accept injustice in the workplace and that having men as allies in the conversation on gender equality is crucial. When we unite and create an inclusive environment, we not only become better leaders, but we also pave the way for the next generation of inspiring leaders from all backgrounds. It’s an exciting time, and we’re thrilled to announce that applications are NOW OPEN for the Let's Lead! DCU Leadership Development for Women programme starting on January 16th, 2025! This programme is designed to empower and equip the next wave of female leaders, and we’d love for YOU to be part of it. Ready to moves up in your leadership Journey? Find out more and Apply here: https://lnkd.in/ew_8fHFC Let’s continue to break barriers, support one another, and lead with confidence!
