A big thanks to everyone who joined us yesterday evening for our "Planning for Success" event with Olympian and Sports Psychologist, Jessie Barr 🌟 Jessie shared learnings from her role in elite sports & performance psychology and the meaning of success. Our CEO Nick Lawlor CFP® shared his insights on our three pillar approach to financial wellbeing success- Understand, Educate and Communicate They then explored the link between these three pillars in both areas as Jessie shared how understanding individual strengths, educating athletes on mental resilience, and fostering effective communication are essential for success- just as these principles are essential with our mission to empower employees in their financial wellness success 🚀 #SportsPsychology #EmployeeWellbeing #HRLeaders

I LOVE a good in-person event, and all the better when you're surrounded by pals, and EVEN better when you're in gorgeous surroundings of The Iveagh Garden Hotel! Thanks Stephen Jenkins and Nick Lawlor CFP® of Employee Financial Wellness for organising such a great event 👏🏻. It was wonderful to meet Olympian and sports psychologist Jessie Barr this evening and hear her insights into helping people shift their mindset and the difference perspective can make in relation to wellbeing and mental health. Financial wellbeing is something that we're still getting our heads around in Ireland, I often think there's a similar issue with stigma and elements of shame and fear associated with money, or talking about it that there are around mental health. There absolutely shouldn't be, and educating ourselves about our finances is so important. I'm grateful that I took financial advice a number of years ago and have managed to change my financial wellbeing for the better, with massive positive impact on all aspects of my life. 📢I highly recommend connecting with the guys at EFW and having a chat about their services and education programmes. #EmployeeWellbeing #EmployeeFinancialWellbeing #MentalHealthMatters #InItTogether
