Amara Therapeutics, the medtech company based in Galway, has closed a €1.8 million funding round backed by Enterprise Ireland. The latest funding, will allow the company founded in 2021 by Brendan Staunton, Emma Carr, PhD and Geoff Cundiff to commercialise its digital platform aimed at treating a condition called overactive bladder (OAB).
