  • With one week to go, Business Plus Magazine has published the FINN Partners Ireland guide to the 2024 US elections, where we explore the need-to-knows of the race itself and the potential impact of both candidates on Irish/EU trade relations with the US: 🗳️ 42 million early votes have been cast so far 🔑 7 is the number of battleground states which will decide this election, with 270 Electoral College votes needed to win. 🔔 Pennsylvania is viewed as the hinge state in this race 💵💶 Trump has proposed 10-20% tariffs on EU goods 💭 The bottom line: the successful candidate will need the cooperation of both houses of congress to enact their agenda. This seems an unlikely outcome, especially for Vice-President Harris. Read the full guide ⬇️   https://lnkd.in/eMj736hH

Senior Partner at FINN Partners Ireland I Media commentator on PR, sport, business, culture

'By proactively engaging with Government officials, the corporate sector, and for example, the increasingly prominent constituency of outspoken League of Ireland managers — with humility, confidence and a clear strategic message — he will help subtly, soften public attitudes to the FAI...'
