#GES23 is an event exploring how to achieve net zero carbon together.📍Bailey Allen Hall | Galway 🇮🇪

About us

After four long years, the Galway Energy Summit (GES) is back and more exciting than ever! This year, GES has partnered with ASHRAE Ireland to bring you "GES23: Achieving Net Zero", an event that aims to bring together individuals and organisations across all industries with the common goal of achieving net zero carbon together. The event will take place on Augus 11th, 2023, at the Bailey Allen Hall, University of Galway, as part of the ASHRAE Region XIV CRC. The Galway Energy Summit and ASHRAE Ireland are teaming up to co-host this event, which will focus on decarbonisation efforts in the built environment. Buildings consume 40% of the world's energy, making ASHRAE a key player in the development of sustainable building design and decarbonization standards. As a result, partnering with ASHRAE Ireland will provide a valuable link for the Galway Energy Summit to bring together experts and practitioners from the industry to share their knowledge and experiences on how to achieve net-zero energy!
