  • I am sure you heard Meta’s decision to roll back key Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs. It’s frustrating, disheartening, and honestly, a bit scary for those of us who care deeply about building workplaces where everyone belongs. I am still deciding how and if to continue using those platforms. It’s a reminder of how fragile progress can feel. But it’s also a reminder of why this work matters so much. Here’s the thing: DEI isn’t just about ticking boxes or running programs. It’s about people. It’s about making sure everyone—no matter who they are—can show up, feel valued, and know they belong. That’s not a "nice-to-have." That’s a fundamental human need. I’ve been thinking a lot about what keeps me hopeful when setbacks like this happen. And here’s what I’ve landed on: 1. Every small step forward still counts. Even in moments like this, the progress we’ve made doesn’t just vanish. 2. Allyship matters more than ever. This isn’t just the work of DEI professionals—it’s on all of us to show up for each other. 3. We can’t stop talking about this. Sharing stories, amplifying voices, and keeping these conversations alive is essential. What I know for sure is that change doesn’t stop just because it’s hard. It happens when people—real people—stand together and say, “We’re not giving up.” So, to anyone feeling discouraged right now: I see you. Let’s keep going.     What do Restaurant Brands International (Burger King, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Firehouse Subs & Tim Hortons) Reckitt Frankfurt & Barcelona, Chiesi Group, Google, Stahl and Esade have in common? …. They all did a Moving Stories program last month! ⭐ Our Europe tour is almost ending (see you soon Fontys University of Applied Sciences in The Netherlands) and we have LOVED the travels, new faces, crazy exciting new collabs (Antonio Vega of the incredible Includership and best practice Fundación Integralia DKV) and amazing programs, sessions and strategy projects we were able to do! See you again in the new year, because at the moment… we are doing our Asian tour! First stop: India! Stay tuned for this special chapter and thank you to everyone involved in the Europe tour!
