Maintaining today's theme, Karen Luxford, ISQua board member presented on "Sustainability & the future if Safety and Quality" The WHO has decreed that climate change is the biggest health threat facing humanity. It affects the social and environmental determinants of health. Karen showcased some Australian initiatives around anaesthesia and kidney dialysis. Lastly, the speakers Rachel Kenna , Orla Healy, Jeffrey Braithwaite, Ellen Joan van Vliet and Karen Luxford were invited to a panel discussion on today's theme "Running health delivery systems in an era of great challenges: Keeping the orchestra playing while rewriting the symphony."
