#LeonardGildeaCharteredQuantitySurveyors were delighted to provide quantity surveying services on Spiddal Garda Station for the #OfficeofPublicWorks. The Garda Station was officially opened last week, a great day for the local community of Spiddal.
Today, Minister Kieran O'Donnell TD joined Garda Commissioner Drew Harris and Minister Helen McEntee as they formally re-opened An Spidéal Garda Station. The re-opening marks the completion of an extensive programme of works by the Office of Public Works (OPW), initiated last year. This project involved the decommissioning of an existing prefabricated structure and the construction of a permanent, environmentally-friendly building on the same site along Mountain Road, An Spidéal. Key features of the new facility include: 🔹 High-standard insulation for superior energy efficiency 🔹 Low-energy LED lighting throughout 🔹 Air to Water heating and ventilation systems Designed to achieve an A BER rating, this new Garda Station exemplifies our commitment to sustainability and community safety.
