What a delightful sunny, cold, morning in beautiful Edinburgh for MPI UK & Ireland Chapter inaugural Scottish breakfast meeting at the newly refurbished Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿☕️ This meeting marked the start of something special for the Scottish Meeting, Conference and Event proffesionals community - a step towards building new connection’s and strengthening our partnership with VisitScotland to drive new opprtunities and business tourism to Scotland. I have been an MPI member for over a decade and I often get asked if there is any point in joining. In my case, my MPI membership has allowed me to meet and network with numerous fellow event professionals. Events are all about people meeting people and it is important to have a shared space where we can occasionally meet up, learn, cooperate, exchange experiences, catch up on life (and its meaning at times 😉), nurture old and forge new friendships.
