  • PAI’s upcoming one hour online seminar on the strategic benefits of scaling talent within the public service. In a rapidly evolving landscape, Ireland’s Civil Service Renewal 2030 Strategy, Building on Our Strengths, calls for transformation across the public sector. To meet the ambitious goals of this strategy, public service leaders are re-envisioning their approach to talent development and capabilities to align with three core themes: delivering evidence-informed policy and services, harnessing digital technology and innovation, and building a resilient, future-ready workforce and workplace. We look forward to hearing from HR/OD Consultant, Síle O'Donnell (FCIPD) and welcoming our guest speaker, Professor Brian Harney, a leading academic in the field of strategic talent development, who is generously donating his time and insights in support of LauraLynn, Ireland's Children's Hospice. Brian is also co-author of the academic paper on the FRAGILE skills-based agenda, and PAI are delighted to have him on the panel for this session where he will share insights into fostering adaptability and strategic thinking within public service organisations. Limited places remaining, please contact us at Training@pai.ie if you are interested in attending.
