Congratulations to Teen-Turn who had four winners from their Project Squad programme at SciFest CLG last weekend. The contestants benefitted from our very own Designer-in-Residence, Dr. Glenn Curtin expertise as a judge and awarded two junior prize category projects, Robotics Kits attributed to The Digital Hub's ongoing support of Teen-Turn's work. Two of the Best Journey prize winners were girls who completed their projects at the Friday sessions in The Digital Hub. The Liber8 Music Project in collaboration with BIMM Institute Dublin culminated with a graduation performance that took place on Friday, 13th December in BIMM Music Institute on Francis Street. The students demonstrated the skills they had learned over the 8-week course by playing songs by Fleetwood Mac, Radiohead and more for their family and friends. The programme included 27 students from 7 participating schools in Dublin 8 and the surrounding areas. 📣 Open call for ENFUSE 2025 applications. 📣 The ENFUSE programme is led by Dublin City Council and LEO Dublin City. ENFUSE matches local enterprises and social enterprises with teams of Masters level university students and college students. During semester 2 (January-May) as part of a module, students work in teams typically of 4-6 members with selected enterprises. The students help provide insights, propose solutions and ultimately present a bespoke and tangible plan that sets out how the enterprise can innovate, address challenges and develop opportunities.
