Thank you to all the employee volunteers from Synopsys Inc in Dublin who took time out to pack 320 food kits for NOVAS homeless services on Wednesday morning, as part of the Synopsys Season of Service. Wondering where you are going to find the time to organise that large-scale employee volunteer event your company has been focused on? We supported Fidelity Investments across multiple employee volunteer projects during their Fidelity Cares Month in May. They chose us to project manage their event from start to finish, crafting a project to fit their volunteer numbers, locations and budget. We identified, managed and led the projects ensuring a high impact, hassle-free, day out in the community. "I found it so fulfilling to help those who need it most. I met some great people from Volunteer Ireland who do inspiring work. I also loved meeting new people from Fidelity. I think it's great that Fidelity give back to the local community like this!" 🤝Not only does everyone have the right to volunteer; everyone has something valuable to contribute. This course explores the benefits and risks of involving volunteers with additional support needs and how best to manage their integration with current volunteers and staff. At the end of the course, you will be able identify those with additional support needs; determine what additional supports may be required for their inclusion and decide as an organisation whether you will involve volunteers with additional support needs and what policies should be put in place. 📅 Wed 11 Dec, 10am-1pm https://lnkd.in/eBuaj2KX
