Walsh Waste is one of Ireland’s longest established and most experienced waste management companies, having celebrated 50 years in business in 2022. We are a Galway-based family-owned and managed company providing waste management services across diverse business sectors. This includes the cleaning and decontamination of tanks and vessels, CCTV drain surveys, commercial waste collection, skip hire, and hire a loo services. With continuous investment in our equipment and personnel, we are focused on delivering superior customer service and offer you the opportunity to deal with your waste streams efficiently through reputable and ecologically sound processes. Walsh Waste is certified ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO 14001 Environmental Management and ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management. We have ambitious sustainability 2030 targets that are based on existing technology and realistic deployment. This deliverable strategy builds the foundations for the next phase of our long-term ambition of reaching net-zero emissions across our direct operations by no later than 2050. Highlights include: • 50% reduction in CO2 emissions • 20% increase in collection route efficiency • All cars and vans to be Electric Vehicles • Plant 50,000 trees to offset CO2 produced as a result of operations • Buy 100% renewable electricity • Develop our renewable energy capability (solar panels on roofs of company buildings)
